Thank You, Lord (A Healing Prayer)

Thank-you Lord for healing me.
Thank-you Lord for caring for my soul.
Thank-you Lord for being near.
I just love and praise Your name, "Jesus" because it is so dear.

Thank-you Lord for loving me.
Thank-you Lord for grace and mercy, too.
Thank-you Lord for trials you send.
They're only to bring me close to you and all my ways to mend.

Thank-you Lord for Calvary.
Thank-you Lord for Your precious blood.
Thank-you Lord for saving me.
I commit my life to Thee just now as I ponder on They Word.

Thank-you Lord for victory.
Thank-you Lord, I love you more each day.
Thank-you Lord, for leading me,
In the paths of service that you choose as I learn to watch and pray.

The Suffering Church in Russia

Oh Lord My God, when I contemplate,
The suffering Christians in the Communist state,
My heart is grieved, for your family
Who are persecuted at the hands of the enemy.

Come soon, dear Lord, and set up your Kingdom,
Take them home and give them their freedom.
Give them courage and strength to endure,
Until the trumpet sound loud and clear.

Dearest Granddaughter

You precious child, I'll tell you the way,
It's Jesus only, come what may.
You need to know Him to get to heaven,
He died for you, to purge you from leaven.

If you will humble yourself and believe,
Repent, confess sin and the Lord Jesus receive,
He will come in and satisfy your soul,
Give you new life, and make you whole.

You'll have His peace, joy, and love,
And what's more, a home with Him above.
He's coming soon, so please don't wait
To get yourself ready, in the heavenly state.

At the Cross

His accusers mock, the crowds jeer,
His disciples, forlorn, dejected stand near.
He was rejected and despised by man,
He cried, "Father, forgive them", it's Your plan.

When we are put in a crucible in time,
It's only to temper us, our gold to refine.
His grace is sufficient to see us through,
He has promised, "I'll never leave you."

He wants to purge out all our dross,
He will if we come to the foot of the cross.
Judging ourselves, and not our brother,
For Jesus admonishes us to love one another.

Revive us Lord, give us harmony.
Search us, cleanse us, we need unity.
Above all else may we learn to pray,
And let us begin this very day!

Dear precious one, you have made me glad,
To get the news that you're not sad.

Jesus will give you the joy you need,
He'll be near, your prayers, He'll heed.

You have made a very wise choice,
To come back to Him, the angels rejoice.

He will purge out all your dross,
As you daily commune at the foot of the cross.

His Word is a sword, powerful and true,
He'll keep all His promises and see you through.
