To the Graduate

The day has finally arrived, fro which you've waited,
It's been worth it all, for you have graduated!

With much perseverance and hard work too,
God, by His grace, has enabled you.

God bless you, dear one as you mature,
We'll always be praying for your future.

Strive to be like Jesus, humble and lowly,
Loving and kind, taking time to be holy.

Let the Holy Spirit always shine through,
Glorifying God in all that you do.

Be thankful for everying as you learn to pray,
Committing all to Him; He'll show you the way.

His peace He'll give, the very best kind,
That surpasses understanding, renewing your mind.

Reach out to others who are waiting to hear,
They need to be loved and to be held near.

Be strong in the Lord, courageous and true,
Go work in His vineyard, He's calling you!

To the New Graduate

The day has arrived for which you've been longing,
All the accomplishments and awards of belonging.

By God's grace thus far you've come,
Hell continue to guide you in His Kingdom.

Just look to Him, for grace each day,
And for every trial that comes your way.

Be like Him, meek and lowly,
Compassionate and kind, ever holy.

Be gentle, patient, joyous too,
Let your sweetness and sincerity shine through.

Be strong and courageous, pure, and true,
Obedient and thoughtful in all you do.

Reach out to others the lost to win,
to the many young people living in sin.

Be much in prayer, He'll hear your call,
Read His Word, yield to Him your all.

God bless you dear as you mature,
Our prayers will follow you to the future.

Fret Not, Granddaughter

Do not be anxious or fret,  (Philippians 4:6)
Jesus has never left you yet.

He has promised to be near,  (Hebrews 13:5; John 14:8)
To comfort and give cheer.

Look to Him and be blest,  (Hebrews 12:2; Proverbs 18:24)
He's your friend, the very best.

Satan is a defeated foe,   (Colossians 2:14,15; 1 John 3:18; Ephesians 6:10)
Be strong in the Lord Who loves you so.

You can have victory every day,  (1 Corinthians 15:57; 1 John 5:4; Matthew 26:41)
If you'll learn to watch and pray.

Read His Word, keep close to Him,   (Revelation 1:3; Romans 10:7)
Then you faith will not grow dim.

Sing and praise, be joyful, too,   (John 15:11; Psalm 100:1-2; Psalm 91:14-16)
He'll deliver and see your through.

Reach out to others, tell them His story,  (2 Timothy 4:2; Romans 1:16; John 8:50; 1 Corinthians 10:31; Galatians 6:14)
Your life will count for all His glory.

Neglect not the assembling together,   (Hebrews 10:24)
With the family of God in all kinds of weather.

Laborers With Him

The harvest is ripe, the laborers few,
But thank God, He has chosen you,
To go where He called, and whatever betide,
He'll be with you, and will always guide.

His Word you'll proclaim, you'll win precious souls,
Do all in His Name, He'll make them whole.
The Lord is a Rock, stand firm on Him,
His Word is a lamp, may it never grow dim.

May His ministering Spirit prevail in your life,
To fill you with love, to help others in their strife.
May all be done to bring God the glory,
Self hid behind the cross as you tell others His story.

God bless you and keep you in the center of his will,
Strengthened with His might, as you wait and are still.

Our Dearest Friend

As we walk by faith and grace,
Sometimes God will hide His face.

Allowing Satan to have his fling,
But his darts have lost their sting.

We will not falter nor fear,
Knowing that Christ is always near.

The One who is faithful to the end,
He is our dearest Friend.

He will be with us in the fight,
He will conquer in His might.

We may be persecuted but not cast down,
But some day we will wear a crown.

Look to Jesus, He'll see you through.
He has promised, "I'll never leave you."
