It's not by trying but trusting
You'll get your answers from Him
He wants your heart to be resting
In a faith that never grows dim.
It's not by sight or feeling
Upon which you should depend
But a constant knowing
He is with you till the end.
Whatever you ask of HIm
He will surely not deny
If you keep His commandments
And totally on Him rely
He is patiently waiting
To hear your faintest call
And to give you your heart's desire
As you yield to Him your all.
Study the Word to know His will
Wait on Him, be very still
He will speak in a gentle tone
You will know it's the "Tender One"
